The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is composed of two major divisions, the Anatomical Pathology Division and the Laboratory Medicine Division. The former consists of the surgical pathology and the cytopathology. The latter consists of biochemistry, serology and immunology, microbiology, blood bank, and general laboratory (OPD & ER) sections.
The Division of Pathology provides diagnostic services of biopsy and cytopathology. The laboratories of Division of Laboratory Medicine are equipped with sophisticated facilities and instruments. With strong professional and highly skilled manpower of medical technology, the quality of laboratory services can be quaranteed. Since 1998, they have been participating the survey programs provided by the QAP and Association of Laboratory Medicine, ROC, and the results have been always excellent. |
